Ukraine: solidarity centres open for journalists
Journalists working in Ukraine can access dedicated spaces for use as newsrooms and emergency evacuation bases.
The centres now open in Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk and Chernivtsi by the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine will be used in several ways, including as distribution bases for safety equipment. Journalists covering the war can also use the centres to access resources, receive training and as office spaces.
Establishing the centres has been made possible through funds donated to the International Federation of Journalists and European Federation of Journalists' solidarity appeal, created to support journalists covering the war in Ukraine. Support from unions globally, including donations from NUJ members means the centres can now provide essential help to all those reporting from the frontline.
Journalists can access the solidarity centres by completing a short form or through the following contact information:

Donations to the Ukraine safety fund go directly towards supporting journalists in Ukraine, and can be made using this appeal link.
