On behalf of the Welsh Executive Council and NUJ members throughout Wales, we send solidarity to our colleagues in the BBC who are taking strike action to defend local radio and local news. The BBC must pause and rethink its plans which will cut vital local content by almost half and result in many presenters losing their jobs or making the decision to leave the jobs they love.
