Remembering Jim Eadie
NUJ members are invited to join in paying tribute to Jim Eadie, first full-time official of the union in Ireland, on Monday December 12th at Kilternan Cemetery Park, Dublin, following a private family funeral service.
It is proposed to have a Guard of Honour at the entrance to the Cemetery Park. Please assemble at 12 noon.
Ian McGuinness, Irish organiser and Gerry Curran, NEC member, will be acting as stewards.
Jim’s family have thanked the NUJ for the offer of a guard of honour and for the many kind tributes to their father.
Those wishing to offer condolences to the family may also do so on Sunday. Jim will be reposing in Fanagans Funeral Home, Dundrum on Sunday, 11th December from 3pm to 5pm.
