Donate to the Fund to show solidarity and support colleagues in need of financial assistance.
Guardian & Observer journalists are taking strike action in December as part of their ongoing dispute over the hurried sale of the Observer. When NUJ members are on strike, all members of the union are encouraged to offer support and show solidarity.
For some, losing pay during a strike can cause hardship.
Please make a donation to show solidarity, all donations are gratefully received. Please also encourage whip-rounds and donations from your chapels and branches.

A third option is to let the union's finance department deduct a sum from the branch management allowance when submiting the quarterly return.
