Top scientists and academics send an open letter to Springer Nature in support of NUJ members’ pay demands

An open letter signed by almost 500 academics, representing a Who’s Who of leading scientists including six Nobel prize winners, has been sent to Springer Nature in support of staff who are striking for an increased pay offer.

International journalists’ organisation to pay solidarity visit to Springer Nature picket line

A delegation of international journalists and union leaders will visit NUJ members at Springer Nature on Thursday 20 June, the first day of a series of strikes at the global academic publisher over a pay dispute.

STV dispute ends as improved pay offer accepted

Nick McGowan-Lowe, NUJ national organiser for Scotland said: “This has been a slow and difficult dispute, but we have finally reached a pay offer that has been accepted by our members.”
