NUJ Leadership in the Newsroom training for journalists
This autumn's dates for the free courses for mid-career NUJ journalists, especially underrepresented groups in the industry, to develop their leadership skills.
Funded training - July 2024
Over the past year, hundreds of members have taken up the free in-person Newsroom Leadership courses and online news verification sessions, both funded by Google News Lab. Last year’s DM passed a resolution calling for a consultation about this funding. The NEC resolved to seek further feedback from members, branches and tabling bodies – you can submit this by emailing [email protected], subject heading Funded Training.
